Indiana Jones plays Uncharted 3

But he’s… And that’s… Well this is it, the internet has officially maxed out its awesome quota. If you don’t know why Harrison Ford–star of among other things, the Indiana Jones trilogy (Yes, trilogy, the fourth movie never happened.  It never happened!!), playing Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, a game that is basically a modern Indiana Jones retelling–is awesome, then we can’t be friends anymore.

In the video released by Sony for the Japanese TV audience, the actor sits down with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception to check it out. While Ford doesn’t seem all that comfortable with a controller in his hand, he does genuinely seem to be having fun playing the game. Indiana Jones is having fun playing Nathan Drake. Meta-fiction at its finest.

The clip below is a behind-the-scenes version of an ad that is airing in Japan now. The ad is much shorter and just shows Ford running the gamut of gamer emotions (joy, tension, unreasonable rage, etc.), but the clip below is much more interesting. 1Up has posted the ad itself though if you are interested.

So if you want to be like Indiana Solo himself and try out Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, you won’t have to wait much longer. The game is due out for the PS3 on November 1.

Do your dailies

We'll get the most obvious tip out of the way first. Daily challenges are back and work just as they always have. Every 24 hours you will be given a handful of small optional tasks to complete for a heap of bonus XP. These can be things like getting Scorestreak kills, getting Point Blank Kills, and getting kills with a specific weapon type. Most daily challenges are worth 2,500 XP, which is already a nice bonus, but there is also a fourth one that can be worth between 3,000 and 5,000 additional XP. Each day you log on, you should prioritize your daily challenges.
