There have been plenty of hit gacha games in the past few years, such as Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, but none approach the open-world genre quite like Infinity Nikki. This cozy game swaps out magic and guns for adorable outfits and charming characters to meet. Just like the best free-to-play games, it is also available on multiple platforms. If this game is going to suck up as much of your time as those other games, you would hope it is also a cross-platform game so that you can continue your adventures no matter where you are, right? When it comes to cross-progression, Infinity Nikki will allow you to take your save between all platforms seamlessly. You can start playing on your PS5, grab your iOS or Android device to dress up on the go, and then finish off on PC if you want with no worries about losing any progress or items.

In terms of crossplay, Infinity Nikki currently has no multiplayer options of any kind, whether it be cooperative or otherwise. Thus, there are no crossplay options here. However, it is possible that online modes will be made available in the future. Aside from the focus on firearms and integrating some randomly generated environments, the Remnant series sets itself apart from other Soulslikes such as Elden Ring and Lords of the Fallen mainly with its focus on co-op. Both titles encourage you to team up with two friends to fight your way through the mutated monsters that await. After so many years of progress in terms of multiplatform games incorporating full cross-platform support, you might assume Remnant 2 will follow suit and let you make a group with anyone regardless of what platform they're on. At launch, Remnant 2 lacked any cross-platform functionality, meaning you were forced to only play with those on your specific platform the same way it works with Palworld. It may have taken a while, but Valorant is now playable on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Given that players on those systems will be using controllers instead of keyboard and mouse, PC players might be wondering if they will have a host of easy targets coming into the game.
