Wordle is now playable on New York Times Crossword app

The New York Times announced that Wordle is now playable within The New York Times Crossword app on Android and iOS. Players can access the popular word guessing game in the same app as three other games: The Crossword (the app's namesake), The Mini Crossword, and Spelling Bee.

Doom Eternal will come to Xbox Game Pass on October 1

Doom Eternal will join Xbox Game Pass for consoles on Thursday, October 1. Microsoft said the shooter will be added to Game Pass for PC later in 2020.

The Game Pass edition comes after Microsoft bought Bethesda parent company ZeniMax for $7.5 billion. That includes all studios under Bethesda, including Doom Eternal developer id Software. The deal, which won't be finalized until 2021, means Bethesda's library of games will come to Game Pass, according to Microsoft.

When it comes to big-budget AAA games, October looks like it will be one of the most densely packed months of the year. We're getting new entries in beloved series like Dragon Age, Super Mario Party, Call of Duty, and more as well as remakes of games like Silent Hill 2.
