When Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is released late next month, most will likely tear through it and complete the campaign as quickly as possible. After all, if the story is as the developers no doubt hope it will be, you will want to experience it all quickly—that is the sign of a good game.
But for every second of gameplay, there was a good deal of time spent in creating it. When a movie does well, the people with the greatest responsibility in its success gain a reputation that spreads through the public consciousness. Directors become stars, writers become recognized, and even more technical positions like director of photography can gain fame in certain circles. But when a game ends, those responsible move on to their next project and hope their work is remembered.
In the video below, the developers of Hunted: The Demon’s Forge are discussing a few features of the game, specifically the interaction between the two main characters, E’lara and Caddoc. Each character has his or her own style and personality to go with it, and the video highlights a bit of that, making it part trailer, and part behind-the-scenes.
So check out the developers out inXile Entertainment doing what they love, and get ready for Hunted: The Demon’s Forge to hit PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 31.
