Ubisoft teases Watch Dogs DLC set in Camden, NJ

The official Watch Dogs Twitter account has shared a tease of what the first DLC for the open world hacking game might look like.

Questionable veracity of their un-cited statistic aside, the tweet clearly points toward the crime-ridden New Jersey city of Camden as the next heavily-surveilled location for protagonist Aiden Pearce to hack into submission. Or maybe it won’t be Aiden. Last we heard, Watch Dogs’ story DLC would follow Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney, one of the supporting players in the main game’s story.

Released back in May, we found that Watch Dogs brought some fresh ideas to Ubisoft’s established open world model, but at the expense of interesting plot and characters. Perhaps a new setting for the DLC will help breathe some life into the strong gameplay framework that’s been built.

Watch Dogs: Legion’s online mode delayed to next year as Ubisoft focuses on bugs

Ubisoft is delaying Watch Dogs: Legion's upcoming multiplayer mode until 2021. The studio says it will focus on fixing the game's technical issues, starting with a major patch next week.

The online update was set to launch on December 3, and would have added co-op missions and competitive modes to the game. It would have been Watch Dogs: Legion's first major content drop since the game's release in October. Ubisoft says the mode will now launch in early 2021 but no specific date was given. The news comes just after the game's price has dropped to $30 at some retailers ahead of Black Friday.

Another Ubisoft executive is out following sexual harassment allegations

Yet another Ubisoft executive has left the company after several employees accused him of sexual harassment and misconduct.

Tommy François, who served as Ubisoft's vice president of editorial and creative services, left the company last week, Business Insider confirmed, after obtaining an internal email from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. Although Guillemot didn't comment on the reasons for François' departure, it came just a week after Business Insider recounted reports from both current and former Ubisoft employees, who said the executive would comment on female colleagues' appearances and inappropriately massaged co-workers. He also discussed masturbating during a 2016 business trip to Montreal, the employees told Business Insider.
