Xbox Rocks The Vote

If you’re a gaming addict who hasn’t registered to vote, life just became a whole lot easier. Starting today, thanks to a partnership between Microsoft and activist group Rock the Vote, you can now register to vote using the interactive Xbox Live service.

Additionally, there will be polls about how people are likely to vote on the service as well as forums where people can express opinions that will be forwarded to the Presidential candidates.

In a statement, Heather Smith, executive director of Rock the Vote, said:

"To realize our goal of registering two million young Americans by this fall, we need to go where young Americans are. There’s no doubt in our minds that many are on Xbox 360 and Xbox Live."

Xbox Game Pass games come and go every month, but December sees a total of 13 games leaving the service, including Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Horizon 4.

It's a definite bummer for subscribers, especially since Forza Horizon 4 still holds up even next to its successor (but not unexpected, as its DLC was delisted in June). All of these games are 20% off while they're still in the Game Pass library, so you can save a little dough to keep your favorites.

Xbox Series X 1TB All-Digital console.

The Xbox Series X is one of Digital Trends' favorite gaming consoles right now, and for good reason — the best Xbox Series X games rival lineups on other platforms, Game Pass is still an absolute steal and performs well compared to the PS5. If you're looking to jump into the Xbox ecosystem or make a significant upgrade the Xbox you already have, there's a holiday deal you need to know about.

New to the Xbox lineup this year is the Xbox Series X Digital 1TB, and it's my favorite console in quite a while. You can buy a Xbox Series X Digital 1TB (and a new controller) at Best Buy right now for just $440. That's a nice discount of about $70, or enough cash to buy a new game to go along with it.
