Dell Shipping New Projectors

Dell today showed off two new high-brightness projectors which are designed for the conference room, classroom or home theater. The new Dell 2400MP ($1,099) and Dell 1200MP ($699) are both available now.

The Dell 2400MP, said Dell, is an XGA (1024 x 768) projector with features such as a 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness rating, 2,100:1 contrast ratio, Texas Instrument’s new color-processing technology which reportedly generates sharper text and accurate color reproduction in well-lit rooms and a weight of 5.5 pounds. The Dell 1200MP, meanwhile, is a SVGA (800 x 600) resolution projector with 2,000 ANSI lumens and a weight of less than five pounds.

If it's not evident by now, let it be known that JBL likes to party ... PartyBox, that is. At CES 2025 in Las Vegas today, the California-based iconic speaker brand has pulled the veil off not one but three new portable party speakers: the PartyBox 520, PartyBox Encore 2, and PartyBox Encore Essential 2, ranging from 100 to 400 watts in power and from $300 to $800 in price.

Starting with the biggest of the bunch, the PartyBox 520 adds a new power entry to JBL's top three with a whopping 400-watt maximum power output from two 7.5-inch woofers and dual 1-inch tweeters, putting it just 80 watts shy of the excellent JBL PartyBox 320 we reviewed last year.

Sansui builds on its OLED TV line with new sizes, and adds new AI gaming monitor
Sansui 65-inch OLED 65VO

Sansui made a surprise entry back into the U.S. market last fall with the release of its 55-inch OLED -- the least expensive OLED on the market. At hundreds less than competitors from LG, Samsung, and Sony, the company made waves when it came out. We had a sample in our test lab for an unboxing and were impressed with what we saw. Now at CES, the company is expanding the line to three sizes -- 55-, 65-, and 77-inch models.

There's an enhanced karaoke mode for family nights that adds some gamification with performance scoring for pitch, rhythm, and style accuracy. It will also keep track of rankings with a family leaderboard, and can track individual progress as your karaoke skills improve. All sizes will have Dolby Vision and Atmos support, 120Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low latency mode (ALLM).
