Something I love to do, every chance I get, is to share my experiences with select products, especially on deal posts and sales features. Why? Because that gives people a much better idea of what they can expect if they were to take advantage of those offers. For better or worse, you gain something, and that’s precisely what I plan to do with BLUETTI’s latest Elite 200 V2 portable power station. You see, I happen to have one in my possession which I acquired recently. And a good thing, too, with all of the hurricanes that have been hitting our area — I live near Tampa, Florida.

Thanks to BLUETTI Black Friday deals and discounts, that have just dropped, there are several power stations on sale, including the Elite 200 V2. It’s a 2,600-watt and 2,073.6-watt-hour power station, which is frankly a massive capacity for something this size, that can power up to nine devices simultaneously — I’ve tested that too. Understandably, you probably care more about the prices and discounts so let’s get into it.

Look, getting $900 off a brand new power station that just released, and with such a large capacity, is already insane. But one of the most important things I wanted to test for my family was whether or not the BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 could power up everything we needed during a week-long outage. We’ve had them before and with hurricanes getting so intense year after year, we’re going to have one again. So, I did a dry run and used the power station to achieve just that. I did it all on one charge, with no use of solar panels or traditional grid power to recharge the station. How long can it last? Here’s the thing: Almost nothing is going to last for an entire week if you’re using it regularly, except for maybe a super-huge home backup system. But the BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 will definitely work and give you some wiggle room — like it gave us. No more spoiled food or hot days. I’m definitely going to be pairing it with some solar panels to keep it charged when the grid power is down, though.

So, what does it feature? The 2073.6 watt-hour capacity is expansive, with 2,600 watts of output (5,200 watts peak). It can power up to nine devices simultaneously including small appliances, electronics, mobile devices, game consoles, and even a router and modem. When it comes to taking this bad boy off-grid, not much else compares. It’s lightweight and portable despite its massive capacity. The two top handles make it easy to move and it’s small enough to stow in a trunk, van, or RV. The long lifespan means it will last for 17 years or 6,000+ discharge and charge cycles. It also connects with the BLUETTI app to keep you in control and informed.

Whether you need a home backup solution, as my family does, or something for off-grid and travel, the BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 is a good choice and the price is right. Thank you Black Friday.

BLUETTI AC300 and B3ooK home battery backup bundle — now $1,699, was $2,499 32% off

BLUETTI AC300 plus B300K home battery backup system inside
BLUETTI

Another option, one which I have yet to test, is BLUETTI’s home battery backup bundle. It includes the BLUETTI AC300 portable power station and a single B300K expansion battery. Combined they provide a total of $2,764 watt-hours capacity. You can always add additional batteries, up to four total, expanding to 11,059 watt-hours. Why would you do that? To power up your entire home for an extended period, just like the outages I’m talking about. But this setup is ideal for home backup, off-grid living, emergency preparedness, and RV or van life power.

Both units are relatively lightweight and portable, which means they’re easy to transport and stow as you move. It features 16 versatile ports, including NEMA TT-30 and 30-amp RV ports for diverse charging needs. Need to power your RV gear in a pinch, you can do that. You can even use the system as a 24/7 UPS home backup. That way you can keep your mission-critical electronics powered up when you need them most. Stay internet-ready while it’s available. For my family, staying internet-ready is a plus. We can keep an eye on hurricane tracks and news during major storms. Realistically, you can use the UPS backup feature for anything not just routers and modems.

Altogether, both of these Black Friday deals will help you and your family stay powered up and ready for anything. From something with a massive capacity to another system with a fully expandable capacity, choose what works best for you and save big. These deals don’t happen often.

A DeWalt drill being used.

Update 11/07/24: Black Friday is only a few weeks away, which means that many retailers have started releasing great deals on power tools that are worth snapping up, even right now. We've gone ahead and updated the prices to all the current deals, as well as added a few extra options that we really liked.

Black Friday is officially starting on November 29, although that doesn't mean that you can't start buying things now. Even if you aren't the type to buy everything early, we really think that power tools should be an exception. Let's say, for example, that you take part in Black Friday TV deals and decide to mount your new TV. You'll want a drill/driver for that. Maybe you partake in soundbar deals? You can mount those, too! Even if you are going for Black Friday gaming laptop deals, you might decide to mount a secondary monitor near your gaming desk so you can pop up a stream on the side when you are ready for an on-the-desk gaming sesh. Do you see what we mean? Seemingly anything you buy these days might have some mounting feature — and, yes, that includes vacuum cleaners — that you might wish to utilize. So, go ahead and shop these Black Friday power tool deals starting now.

This EcoFlow portable power station is only $119, with a catch
An EcoFlow River 2 portable power station sits on a camp table.

There are so many uses for a portable power station, and if you don't have one yet, you don't want to miss this opportunity to buy the EcoFlow River 2 for only $119. That's half-price following a $120 discount on its original price of $239, but there's a catch -- you'll be getting a refurbished model. If you're willing to take this deal for the huge discount, you better hurry -- it's part of EcoFlow's Outdoor Sale, and there are only a few days remaining before the event ends.

Why you should buy the EcoFlow River 2 portable power station
The EcoFlow River 2 is a smaller and more affordable version of the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, which received a rating of 4 out of 5 stars in our review. If you don't think you'll need the larger capacity of the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, and if you're on a tighter budget, there's no problem with going for the EcoFlow River 2 instead. Its capacity of 256Wh is enough for power outages, and to serve as a backup energy source for outdoor adventures. It's also much lighter at only 7.7 pounds and more compact than the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, so it's less troublesome to pack.
