The viral Ninja CREAMi ice cream maker is 20% off for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

Summer may be over, but who says frozen treats have to be? From classic vanilla to decadent chocolate to creamy gelatos that can rival your favorite shops’, the possibilities are endless with the Ninja CREAMi.

Lucky for you, the TikTok-famous appliance is currently down to $159 as part of Amazon’s major two-day Prime Big Deal Days (happening on October 8 and 9), where you can score major discounts on kitchen gearelectronics, and more.

Why you should buy the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker

Ninja rarely drops the prices on its best-selling ice cream machines, but both the standard CREAMi and Deluxe models are 20% and 12% off, respectively.

The Digital Trend’s team has obsessively been tracking The CREAMi’s price, and we’ve found that it’s currently $10 more expensive than its July Prime Day price but is still $40 cheaper than the Black Friday price from last year. It’s worth noting that the appliance was not discounted during last year’s October Big Deal Days sale.

Compared to traditional ice cream makers, the Ninja CREAMi is a lot easier to use, has a faster prep time, and has a lot smaller footprint on your countertops.

I own the slightly more expensive Deluxe model, which is on sale for $219 from $249. I was inspired to get one after seeing it make incredibly smooth ice cream comparable to Dairy Queen Blizzard at my friend’s house.

This summer, I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different recipes using my CREAMi. Both the standard and deluxe models can make homemade ice cream, sorbet, smoothies, shakes, and gelato, but the deluxe model offers additional features and more programs (11 compared to 7). These extra programs include options for slushies, Italian ice, frozen drinks, creamiccino, and frozen yogurt.

Making your own ice cream gives you complete control over the ingredients, ensuring it’s free from unwanted additives and artificial flavors.

My go-to recipe is protein ice cream, which is super simple to make with just two ingredients: Chocolate Fairlife Milk and a pinch of Xanthan gum. I use Fairlife’s milk since it’s lactose-free and has 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than regular chocolate milk. I add the ingredients to a container, freeze it overnight, put it in the CREAMi, turn it on, and add a splash of some more milk. It’s truly that simple.

Coming in at just 280 calories, 9g fat, 26g carbs, and 26g protein, it’s the perfect guilt-free indulgence. Don’t worry, I also know how to treat myself and have partaken in less healthy options (no regrets), putting my own spin on classic flavors like Moose Tracks, strawberry shortcake, and lemon sorbet.

If you want the versatility of making a wider variety of frozen treats, the Deluxe is the better choice. If you’re primarily interested in homemade ice cream and sorbet, the standard might be a more budget-friendly option. It’s also worth mentioning that the deluxe has larger pints (24 ounces) that hold 50% more ice cream than the standard’s 16 ounces.

Both models come with everything you need to get started. Most of the CREAMi’s components are top-rack dishwasher safe, making cleanup easy. My only complaint about the CREAMi is I wish it was a little quieter. For context, the whirring of its motor is about as loud as a blender.

Speaking as someone with limited counter space, I truly can’t imagine a life without my CREAMi, so I suggest you hop in this deal if you’re interested in getting one for yourself or gifting it to a loved one.

I love a good grill. Who doesn't? But the key to a good family grill is something you can fire up at a moment's notice to cook some breakfast, lunch, dinner, or whatever you need, and then get back to life. It should be low maintenance and easy to clean. It should also be excellent at making delicious meals and offer a few cooking options. There are a few options in the best Ninja Foodi deals. However, something that really fits the bill is the Ninja Woodfire 8-in-1 pizza oven and electric smoker. This beast can roast, bake, broil, smoke, dehydrate, and more. It's great for making artisan pizzas with a design inspired by traditional brick ovens. But it's all-electric, and you can use wood pellets to add smoky BBQ flavors.
