They were developed separately, but it’s probably no surprise that Google’s upcoming Android phone will be sporting the company’s Chrome browser, even if it doesn’t happen immediately.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin told CNET:
"Probably a subsequent version of Android is going to pick up a lot of the Chrome stack."
Although some features, such as the multiple sandboxes, are unlikely to appear on the mobile version of the browser, its easy integration with other web apps could offer Chrome and advantage in a tight mobile browser market.
However, Chrome probably won’t power the first Android phone, known as Dream, which is die on the market in November.
