Blaupunkt Gets Colorful with Car Receivers

Blaupunkt said yesterday they’d begun shipments of two new gadget-friendly and display-color matching car audio receivers. The new Key West MP36 and the Bahamas MP46 are priced at $149.99 and $179.99 respectively.

The Key West MP36 and Bahamas MP46, said Blaupunkt, both sport a color display panel with 4096 colors which can be customized to match any car interior and dash lighting. The Bahamas MP46 adds to this a full graphical display as well.

Other features of these two car audio receivers include a CD player with MP3 compatibility; shock protection memory; detachable/flip-down faceplate; an auxiliary input for use with satellite radio or video equipment; four-channel preamp outputs; a variable subwoofer output; TEL/NAVI inputs for use with cell phone and navigation systems; a user-adjustable three-band parametric EQ; adjustable scan tuning; CD changer compatibility; ID3 tag display for MP3 files, and an included credit card-sized RC-12H remote control.

Samsung has announced its brand new flagship smartphone lineup with the Galaxy S23 series. With this lineup, we get the S23, S23 Plus, and the behemoth Galaxy S23 Ultra. Though the previous generation of Galaxy S22 phones had some colors that were only available on the Ultra, Samsung has made the color lineup across all three S23 devices the same, at least with the standard colors: Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender.

With the iPhone 14, Apple introduced several nice-to-have features to the iPhone. These include the much-expected satellite communication support as well as car crash detection. Testing crash detection didn't quite happen in many iPhone release day reviews for obvious reasons, but post-launch reviews have seen the iPhone strenuously tested for both its durability prowess and the new crash detection support.

Car crash detection is also available on the Apple Watch Series 8. It kicks into gear when your device detects a solid stop. Once that happens, the iPhone (or Watch), will dial emergency services automatically after a short delay unless the driver is physically able to cancel the call. OnePlus 10T colors: Should you get the phone in black or green?

The OnePlus 10T is official with extra-fast charging capabilities, a non-alert slider design, and Hasselblad branding-less cameras. The device still offers excellent performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While the internals sound over the top, it's pretty typical for OnePlus's usual 'never settle' fashion.

But flashy specs aren't the only thing that the OnePlus 10T brings to the table. It also comes in a couple of color variants so folks can show their personality with their smartphone.

The OnePlus 10T follows the same unified design language as the OnePlus 10 Pro. This means the camera module unifies with the edge of the smartphone -- much like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It comes with a unibody rear glass cover made with "industry-leading technology," at least according to OnePlus.
