If you’ve been holding off picking up a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, then your patience may be about to pay off. Best Buy has announced it will sell the Galaxy S5 in a cool Electric Blue color scheme later this month. It’s an exclusive to the retailer, so you won’t find it anywhere else, and it’ll be priced at $100 with a two-year contract. Best Buy will give you the choice of connecting your new S5 to either AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon.
The deal doesn’t end there either. If you’d prefer to pay for the phone on a monthly basis, using AT&T Next, Sprint Easy Pay, or Verizon Edge, the Electric Blue S5 won’t cost you anything on the day, and Best Buy will give you a $100 gift card once the phone is activated.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S5 during Mobile World Congress back in February, and the flagship Android 4.4 KitKat phone has proved to be another hit for the company. It has a 5.1-inch, 1080p Super AMOLED touchscreen, a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 16-megapixel camera, and 4G LTE connectivity. The introduction of a fingerprint scanner for increased security, and a rear-mounted heart rate monitor, make the Galaxy S5 standout from its peers.
Best Buy’s deal slices the S5’s price in half compared to that of AT&T, where the phone is only offered in black, white and Copper Gold. We think the S5’s unusual perforated rear panel looks great in a brighter color. You’ll have to be quick if you want to take advantage of Best Buy’s deal. It starts on August 17 both in-store and online, and runs only until August 23.
