At first glance, the goofily-named Dakelele Big Cola 3 might seem like a blatant iPhone 6 clone, and it certainly is when it comes to looks. However, peer under the hood and you’ll see that the Big Cola 3 packs rather impressive specifications, as reported and translated by GSMDome.
Before we get to the specifications, though, let’s just get this out of the way: From a distance, you could easily mistake the Big Cola 3 for the iPhone 6. Save for the lack of a mute switch and the tray for the Micro SD card slot, there are very marginal differences.
The insides are a completely different story, though. You’ll find a 64-bit, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset that works in concert with 3GB of RAM. The Big Cola 3 also runs Android 4.4 KitKat instead of iOS. A 5-inch, 1080p panel flanks the front, but it actually gains a leg up on the iPhone 6, as the panel is reportedly covered with sapphire glass.
You’re only given 16GB of internal storage, but the aforementioned Micro SD card slot supports cards up to 128GB in size. The Big Cola 3 has a surprisingly high-resolution rear-facing 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 camera sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. Meanwhile, the 8-megapixel front-facing Sony IMX219 camera takes care of your selfie needs.
The Big Cola 3 also earns an advantage over its inspiration with its respectable price point of just $243, to be precise. Unfortunately, the Big Cola 3 is only sold in China, though you can easily import it.
