Peripheral and accessories make iLuv has introduced two new sets of iPhone/iPod headphones designed to offer a premium listening experience while unobtrusively offering hands-free control over an iPod or iPhone, plus the ability to take calls and record voice memos without having to futz with tiny things riding in your years. The iEP315 and iEP515 headphones are aimed at iPhone 3GS users, but also work with recent iPod touch, iPod nanos, iPod classics, and the new iPod shuffle with voice control.
“Our new Premium precision crafted earphones are perfect for iPhone 3GS owners looking to upgrade their headphones,” said iLuv’s Howard Kim, in a statement. “We are proud to add a microphone remote function to our premium sound designed earphone audio solutions.”
The iEP315 headphones feature an inline remote for controlling an iPhone 3GS or iPod, along with handsfree calling and voice memos through the integrated microphone. The iEP515s feature a “precision-engineered driver” for full-range music reproduction, a sound-isolating design, along with an integrated mic for calls and voice memos and an inline remote for iPod control. Both headphones come with various eartip sizes for a good fit.
The iEP315s will carry a suggested price of $29.99, while the iEP515s will go for $59.99; the iEP515s will be available in August from iLuv’s Web site; the company hasn’t said when the iEP315s will be available.
