Microsoft’s partner in crime when it comes to Windows 8 Phones has been Nokia since the announcement of the operating system. The company has produced the flagship handsets that seem to best show off the capabilities of Microsoft’s mobile OS. Today, Nokia added some depth to its lineup while improving the existing options. The Nokia Lumia 920 and 928 got dolled up for the event, and the Lumia 925 was introduced for the first time. Will one stand out in a lineup more than its siblings? Check the spec sheet and see if one catches your eye.

Looking at just the numbers, there’s not a whole lot that differentiates these devices from one another. Andy pointed this out earlier. In fact, visually the only tell seems to be the color of the case (the 920 has the most options with white, red, yellow, black, or grey; while the 928 comes in black or white and the 925 is available in silver or grey). The 925 also trades some of its polycarbonate shell for some real aluminum, as well. The dimensions and weight have slight but mostly unnoticeable differences, and even the screen resolutions come in at the same pixel count. There are some differences in the screen, as the 920 is the only one not protected with Gorilla Glass and is an LCD rather than an OLED like the 925 and 928. The camera on the 928 is the only to come with the Xenon flash, which may sell some photography fans. Processors all clock in at the same speed though are different models, RAM is the same, batteries are the same-you get the idea. There are lots of similarities in these devices, with little variances in areas that the average consumer probably isn’t going to notice.

The one nice thing is that all of these phones call different carriers home, so you won’t have to sit at the store trying to figure out the difference between the three if you already have a service provider preference.

Which iPhone model is the most popular? A new report has the answer
The iPhone 16 sticking out of someone's pocket.

For the last three years, Apple has launched four new iPhones each fall: a regular model, the iPhone Plus, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro Max. A new report by CIRP reveals which model is the most popular. And you may be surprised by the answer.

Since the iPhone 14 series in 2022, the regular iPhone has consistently been Apple’s top-selling handset, and it’s not even close.

Future Android phones may come with another preinstalled Google app
The new Cardio Load and Readiness features in the Fitbit app.

If you have an Android phone, you know it comes with many preinstalled Google apps, such as Gmail, YouTube, and Google Maps. In future Android versions, another Google app might be automatically added to the mix.

As 9to5Google first noted, the Oppo Find X8 has Google’s Fitbit app preloaded on the device. It’s now part of Google’s Android app suite on that handset and replaces Google Fit. The site suggests, and probably rightly so, that more Android-based devices will also probably ship with Fitbit preinstalled in the future.

ESR AirPod protective case outside

I know, I know, you've probably been inundated with a ton of early Black Friday deals. Me too. But continuing with some more ESR deals, this time we're back with something a little different. Where before, you were looking at great deals on cases for Apple's devices. Here, we're looking at cases for the iPad and AirPods. With the iPad, it adds a bit of functionality, like doubling as a rotating stand for hands-free viewing. The AirPod case, on the other hand, supports MagSafe charging but offers ultimate drop protection to your earbuds and their wireless charging case. Let's take a closer look.
