Just a couple of weeks away from the official launch of Motorola’s Moto 360 smartwatch and a Best Buy employee – probably now walking about with a red face – went and posted a full product listing for the device.
The details have already been whipped off the site, but not before the folks at Droid Life duly noted each and every offered spec. For starters, the round-faced device looks set to go on sale for $250, making it a little more expensive than LG’s $229 G Watch and Samsung’s $199 Gear Live offering.
According to Best Buy’s listing, Motorola’s wrist-based gadget will have a 1.5-inch backlit LCD touchscreen display with a 320 x 290 resolution at 205 ppi, all protected by Corning’s tough Gorilla Glass 3.
A couple of fitness-related details also featured in Best Buy’s listing for the device, including confirmation of a heart rate monitor and pedometer.
We heard before that the 360 is water resistant, but didn’t have the details. Helpfully, Best Buy appears to have spilled the beans, noting that the gadget can handle a depth of up to 3.3 feet (1 meter) for as long as 30 minutes.

The stylish smartwatch looks set to launch with 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth 4, and a Texas Instruments processor running the show. In addition, it can be operated via voice commands, with alerts and notifications delivered via vibration.
Recent rumors have been split over whether the final version of the device will have a plastic or metal construction. Seems both were right – according to Best Buy’s listing, the Moto 360 will have a “stainless-steel case and plastic case back.”
Unfortunately, Best Buy’s information didn’t offer any details on when the watch will ship, so we’ll just have to wait till the official event on September 4 to find out.
In the meantime, if you’re interested in the Moto 360 as your very first smartwatch, or possibly as a replacement for an existing one, then check out DT’s dedicated page for more information on Motorola’s upcoming offering.
