As we head towards the latter part of July, the OnePlus One is still as elusive of a purchase as it was a month ago because of its invite-based purchasing system. Well, a few new invites are coming. As part of its Blizzard of Invites promotion, OnePlus will hand out 5,000 invites.

If you want in, the first thing you’ll need to do is login via email or Facebook. You will then see several listed actions, of which you will need to perform at least one. Actions include liking the OnePlus Facebook page, following OnePlus on Twitter and Instagram, or posting on the company’s forums. A grand total of 10 of the 5,000 winners will also receive a free Bamboo StyleSwap Cover when the cases go one sale at the end of August.

The contest ends on July 23, with winners contacted within three days of the end of the event. In addition, the contest is open only to those who have yet to receive invites, so those with invites looking to score more are out of luck.

The OnePlus 13 may have already killed the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
The white OnePlus 13.

Did OnePlus, in October 2024, just announce one of the best smartphones of 2025? It very well may have, because OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 13.

Well, sort of. The OnePlus 13 is now available in China, though it'll be a while before it comes to the U.S. and other parts of the world. Although it'll likely be December or January before you and I get our hands on the OnePlus 13, the wait should be worth it. The OnePlus 13 already looks like one of next year's best phones — and it may have simultaneously caused the premature death of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Don’t worry — this isn’t a Halloween trick; it’s a much-anticipated treat. The OnePlus 13 has been officially announced. While the highly anticipated handset will first launch in China, a global release is sure to follow. The OnePlus 13 will replace the OnePlus 12, which continues to be one of our favorite smartphones of the year.

As expected, the OnePlus 13 features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offers up to 24GB of RAM for smooth performance even in demanding tasks and games. The phone includes a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate to deliver vibrant colors, deep blacks, and smooth motion. Typical brightness for the display is rated at 800 nits, while peak brightness is an impressive 4,500 nits.

Massive OnePlus 13 leak just revealed everything about the phone

At this point, it's common news that the OnePlus 13 will launch in China tomorrow. Obviously, we would get all of the specs on the phone at launch, but the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA (similar to the Federal Communications Commission in the U.S.) recently shared an almost complete specs list. Since it's coming from an official agency, this is information that you can pretty much take at face value.

According to the certification, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will come with a 4.1GHz CPU, and have a 6,000mAh battery. We already knew most of these details from previous leaks, but it's good to see them confirmed.
