Hate having a watch that doesn’t match your ride? Well, if you drive a Porsche, you’re in luck.
A Porsche-designed face for the Android Wear smartwatch just went live, and it’s available for free on Google Play right now.
If you don’t have a Porsche, then hey, free watch face.
The new design is sleek and minimalist in style, and according to the Stuttgart-based automaker, it’s “inspired by the definitive Porsche aesthetic of tradition and innovation.”
It isn’t just there to look pretty, though. During the FIA World Endurance Championship, the display will transform by outlining the host track of a given week. With this process, to manufacturer says its “synchronizing Porsche fans around the world.”
The race series debuts April 12 at England’s Silverstone track and ends at the Bahrain International Circuit on November 21st.
The Android system allows you to access navigation and weather, use voice search, control music, set reminders, and check commuting times all from your wrist. And yes, it tells time.
Android Wear is currently available on the following devices: Motorola Moto 360, LG G Watch, LG G Watch R, Samsung Gear Live, ASUS ZenWatch, and the Sony Smartwatch 3.
Android’s main competition is the Apple iWatch. Unlike Apple, Google currently doesn’t offer a physical product to go along with its operating system. Given products like Google Glass, though, that might not always be the case.
