Apple’s latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, are sure to be the talk of the town for the rest of the year. Apparently, the talk is very strong, because two Chinese men identified as Huang and Wu were willing to sell part of their bodies just to get one of the latest iPhones, reports BGR.

According to the report, Huang and Wu wanted to buy the iPhone 6S but lacked the funds to do so. As such, Huang came up with the idea for both men to sell one of their kidneys in order to get some cash. After all, who cares about having one kidney instead of two when you can have the latest iPhone.

Eventually, Huang and Wu used the Internet and successfully found an “agent” who agreed to the transaction. Of course, anyone can just say that their kidneys are just fine, only for others to find out later that they are beyond a train wreck, so the agent had the pair of men checked out at a hospital in Nanjing to make sure their kidneys were just fine.

Both Huang and Wu went to the hospital, but the agent failed to show. Likely the result of actually thinking this plan through, Wu asked Huang to drop the whole thing and move on. Huang refused to do so, resulting in Wu calling the authorities on his friend. Huang is currently on the run and has yet to be tracked down.

It’s bad enough that the pair thought of selling their kidneys, and went as far as visiting a hospital to get the organs checked out, considering such a practice is illegal in many parts of the world. It’s even worse when you consider they wanted to do so in order to get an iPhone 6S. We’re pretty sure many people would prefer to have both kidneys than to live their lives with just one.

The iPhone 16 Pro has one of the best smartphone cameras you can buy, and it sets a standard for everyone to beat, especially regarding video. We've already seen Samsung and OnePlus try and fail to beat Apple, and the Google Pixel 9 Pro has proven that even it will fall somewhat short.

However, what happens when you look outside the U.S.? Smartphones from Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo have set camera standards that put even the best in the U.S. to shame. I was in Bali last month testing the iPhone 16 Pro camera against a new smartphone from Oppo.

When you buy a smartphone from Apple, Samsung, Google, or OnePlus, there’s always going to be the temptation to get a matching set of wireless earbuds to go along with it, as each manufacturer makes its own pair. But what exactly does it mean when you stay loyal to the brand, and is it worth it?

I’ve used the latest phones and earbuds from each manufacturer to find out. Here's what you need to know — and which pair is the best.
