Just as T-Mobile’s Shadow was starting to get a little dusty since its introduction in 2007, T-Mobile has added a reworked version of the HTC smartphone, along with a fashion-friendly budget offering from Nokia.
The new Shadow will sport a more rounded and compact design with new colors: white mint and black burgundy. Like the original, it includes a 20-key QWERTY keyboard, QVGA screen and Wi-Fi, and runs Windows Mobile 6.1. It also retains the original price point of $150 with two-year contract.
Totally new to T-Mobile is the Nokia 7510 (which we previewed at CES), a clamshell phone with multiple faceplates, including brown, red and green. It also uses an unusual front display that shines through from below the plastic, making it appear to disappear when turned off. T-Mobile will offer it for $50 with a two-year contract.
Both phones are available immediately through T-Mobile retails stores and online.
