T-Mobile Sidekick 3 first look

One of the most popular communication devices to date has to be T-Mobile?s Sidekick II. This little gem that is produced by Danger Inc. allows users to access the web, send IMs, talk to people on the phone, and a whole lot more. Furthermore, its status has been elevated by multiple celebrities such as Paris Hilton who swear by the device as a means of escape and constant communication. T-Mobile is getting ready to release the Sidekick 3 in the next few months and we have tons of insider information for you. The next device will be manufactured by Sharp instead of Danger Inc. and will feature plenty of upgrades in addition to a sleeker look.

The new T-Mobile Sidekick 3 is scheduled to hit stores July 10th and this has been confirmed by our source. Of course products can run into manufacturing delays and other errors so the date could ultimately be pushed back if everything doesn?t go according to plan.

Between the re-designed casing and sleek looks, the Sidekick 3 will feature many improvements over its predecessor the Sidekick II. These include but aren?t limited to:

  • A removable battery
  • Additional storage via a miniSD card slot. A card will be included with the product.
  • USB Cable and syncing
  • A hands free stereo headset
  • A better designed carrying case
  • Improved 1.3megapixel camera
  • Bluetooth 1.2
  • An improved display (65k color SXVGA)

We?re very surprised that T-Mobile decided to not include Bluetooth 2.0 or Wi-Fi with the Sidekick 3. The Sidekick 3 also features a trackball on the right-hand side of the device for more advanced browsing capabilities. A huge improvement over the Sidekick II?s track wheel. Keep an eye out on July 10th for the Sidekick 3 from T-Mobile. The price point still hasn?t been announced but expect to pay between $200 and $400 depending on your contract upgrade.

The Oura Ring 4 is out, so the Oura Ring 3 is on sale
A person wearing the Oura Ring 3rd generation Horizon model.

Fitness trackers come in all shapes and sizes, but did you know that they can also come in the form of rings? If you're interested, you can get the Oura Ring 3, a smart ring that can monitor different kinds of health metrics, with a $50 discount from Best Buy. Instead of its original price of $299, you'll only have to pay $249, but you need to act fast because we're not sure when the offer will end. Add the wearable device to your cart and proceed with the checkout process immediately if you don't want to miss the savings.

Why you should buy the Oura Ring 3
Despite the arrival of the Oura Ring 4, the Oura Ring 3 remains a worthwhile purchase as one of the best fitness trackers that you can buy. According to our Oura Ring 4 versus Oura Ring 3 comparison, the Oura Ring 4 is thinner and lighter, and offers a slightly improved battery, but it shares the same fitness tracking features with the Oura Ring 3, and both are compatible with iOS and Android smartphones. They also both require an Oura membership that costs $6 per month to unlock deeper insights and exclusive features, so the lower price of the Oura Ring 3 compared to the Oura Ring 4 is even more appealing.

I replaced Google Assistant with Amazon Alexa and haven’t looked back
An Amazon Echo Show 5 on a shelf.

This time last year, I was about to move into a new house, and I made the decision to say goodbye to Google Assistant and hello to Amazon Alexa for all my smart home duties.

Now, almost a year later, I’m absolutely convinced it was the right thing to do, as it showed me how fuss-free smart homes can be — and how Assistant's unreliability had been holding me back.
What made me want to change?

T-Mobile’s long-awaited satellite service is finally ready for testing
Texting over T-Mobile direct-to-cell satellite network on a phone.

T-Mobile pledged to “end mobile dead zones” all the way back in 2022, thanks to a deal with SpaceX that would entail using Starlink satellites to enable communication across the entirety of the country. In September this year, the carrier successfully relayed a satellite-driven emergency alert to assess the service.

Now, T-Mobile seems ready for real testing.
