Deadpool isn’t the only superhero movie with cool tricks up its sleeve for stirring up buzz: Warner Bros. and DC Comics have teamed up with Amazon to create an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure game leading up to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as reported by Variety. Called The Wayne Investigation, the game is played with the help of Amazon’s personal assistant, Alexa.

Those who have an Amazon Echo or Fire TV with Alexa integration are able to try and solve the double murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents. Alexa facilitates the investigation by assisting players in finding clues and offering players choices on next steps (i.e. where to go, who to question, and more). Users get to make up to 37 decisions that lead them down various paths and dictate the length of the game; cracking the case can take as little as five minutes, or it can extend to the 40-minute mark.

The game is entirely audio-based and includes music and sound effects. With head writers from DC Comics having collaborated on the game, along with director Zack Snyder’s production company, Cruel & Unusual Films, fans can count on it remaining true to the film franchise. It’s a creative and unique promotion, not just because it builds excitement about the film, but it also provides useful information by allowing users to ask about showtimes once they reach the end.

The promotion is the first of its kind for Amazon, and it will be interesting to see how it fares. Users who wish to play can get started by opening the Alexa app and enabling the game within the “skills” section. From there, a player should say, “Alexa, open the Wayne Investigation” to get it to launch.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25.
