The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Official Trailer – “We March Together”

Katniss and Co. are back in the full trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The latest preview teases an epic conclusion to the Lionsgate movie series, adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novel trilogy. As President Snow (Donald Sutherland) says in the sneak peek, “Make no mistake, the game is coming to its end.”

The resistance fighters from Panem’s 13 districts have their sights set on ending more than a game, though. Their target is Snow himself, and they’ll risk an epic battle for a shot at killing him. After all, “nothing good is safe while he’s alive,” as Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) tells Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) in a moment that will give you chills. “Our lives were never ours. They belonged to Snow and our deaths do too. But if you kill him, Katniss, if you end all of this … all those deaths, they mean something.”

The preview shows the rebels’ careful planning as they prepare to march on the Capitol, where they know they’ll face a minefield of traps. These dangers are “the sadistic inventions of gamemakers,” the very people whose creations terrorized contestants in the Hunger Games. With how diabolically creative they’ve been in the past, Katniss and the others are in for the fight of — and for — their lives.

Along with shots of battle preparations and the fighting itself, we see poignant moments with characters we’ve grown attached to in both the books and movies. There are shots of Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Annie (Stef Dawson)’s wedding, Katniss dancing with her sister, Prim (Willow Shields), and of course, we see the two combatants for Katniss’s affections, Peeta and Gale (Liam Hemsworth). The stage is set for an incredible conclusion. Now we just need it to be November.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters on Nov. 20, 2015. So close and yet so far away.

Manifest season 4, part 2 trailer teases final episodes

"Now, we're finally at the end," Ben Stone (Once Upon a Time's Josh Dallas) tells the survivors of Flight 828 in the opening moments of the new Manifest trailer. The show is also reaching its conclusion as the final 10 episodes of Manifest season 4, part 2 will serve as the series finale.

"In the aftermath of Angelina (The Americans' Holly Taylor) unleashing a volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry," the official synopsis reads.

The Hunger Games prequel The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes gets first trailer

Head back to Panem and discover the origins of a young Coriolanus Snow (Billy the Kid's Tom Blyth), decades before he would rule as the oppressive president of the nation, in the first trailer for the prequel film The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The film is based on the novel of the same name by The Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins.

Set 64 years before the events of The Hunger Games, the film follows an 18-year-old Snow, who is looking for a purpose as he tries to restore relevancy to his disgraced family in the Capitol. Ahead of the 10th Annual Hunger Games, Snow is assigned to mentor the female tribute from District 12, Lucy Gray Baird (West Side Story's Rachel Zegler). As Hunger Games co-creator Casca Highbottom (Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage) tells Snow in the trailer, a mentor's job is to "turn these children into spectacles, not survivors." During the reaping ceremony, Baird boldly sings and curtsies to the crowd, reminding fans of another defiant District 12 tribute, Katniss Everdeen, who would unite the nation years later.

Where to watch The Hunger Games movies

Eleven years ago, The Hunger Games made its highly anticipated debut in theaters. The dystopian adventure depicted the titular brutal fight to the death. Representatives, also known as tributes, from each of the 12 Districts compete in this televised competition as a way to keep the peace in the nation of Panem. Katniss Everdeen (Causeway's Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to take the place of her sister in District 12. Along with fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark (The Disaster Artist's Josh Hutcherson), Katniss battles to stay alive and, in the process, fights to take down the system that created the games.

Based on the book series by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games spawned three sequels: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. The franchise was successful, both critically and commercially, and eventually grossed a combined $2.97 billion worldwide. A prequel, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is set to come out in late 2023.
