When Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures hits retail on September 18, we predict that it’s going to be a big hit with fans of Spielberg’s whip-wielding adventurer. Not because the films themselves have received meticulous attention and should look and sound better than they ever have before, nor because this is the first time fans will be able to pick up all four Indiana Jones films on Blu-ray in a single package. Instead we think the real prize here is the massive list of extras and bonus material that the producers involved with this collection have compiled for the release.
Included in the collection is “seven hours of bonus features, including nearly an hour of previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage,” which, while not quite as massive as that upcoming 50th anniversary James Bond collection, is still pretty huge. ComingSoon reports:

Neat, right? Now you’re probably wondering how much all of this content (not to mention three of Steven Spielberg’s best films and that other one that we only grudgingly acknowledge) will set you back, huh? While the collection would normally cost $100, Amazon currently has a pre-order listing for the Collection at only $68.99. Though we’re not in the habit of directly promoting things that won’t likely result in big bags of cash for us, that’s a very solid deal and if you’re planning on picking up these movies anyway you can’t really do much better than handing your cash over to the lovely people at Amazon.
