Digital Trends to Attend Brandweek 2019 as Constellation Awards Finalists

PORTLAND, Ore., September 23, 2019 — Digital Trends, the world’s largest independent tech publisher, is proud to announce their place as a finalist for the first ever Brandweek Constellation Awards. Winners will be announced at Brandweek, which takes place November 3rd through 6th in Palm Springs, California.

Adweek is bringing back Brandweek for its second year, and this time they’re introducing the Constellation Awards. The awards honor teams of marketers for outstanding collaborative work in brand activations.

Adweek honors Digital Trends for their Amazon Prime Day activation, orchestrated by VP of Commerce Lynda Mann. It included four hours of live-streamed coverage, hand picked deals selected as favorites by the editorial staff, and Prime Day promotions across a variety of platforms. The activation generated $6 million in sales, resulting in a 400 percent boost year-on-year in product purchases. “It’s thrilling to be considered by Adweek for their first Brandweek Constellation Awards,” says Digital Trends CEO Ian Bell. “Lynda did a fantastic job with the Prime Day activation, and we all had a lot of fun in the process. She and her team deserve all the recognition they can get. We’re very hopeful for a win.”

Winning teams will be announced live during Brandweek at the Constellation Ball on the evening of November 6th, where Digital Trends will be in attendance. Winners will also be profiled in the November 18th issue of Adweek, and on Adweek.com.
