Apex Legends Season 2, named Battle Charge, has so far failed to meet expectations as a Fortnite challenger in terms of Twitch viewership, despite a new character and an altered map. The lackluster start has sent Electronic Arts shares crashing, though hope remains for a bigger Season 2 audience.

EA is doing things a bit differently for its fan-oriented EA Play event. Multiple livestreams aired on June 8, replacing the traditional press conference format. These included Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, FIFA 20, Madden NFL 20, Apex Legends, Battlefield V, and The Sims 4.
