Huawei has reportedly made a deal with MediaTek to use its new 5G SoC in a low-cost 5G smartphone expected to launch in early 2020. MediaTek's chip is an integrated solution made for Sub-6 5G networks that launched in May. The partnership may mean one of the first affordable 5G phones will come from Huawei.
