AMD stole all of Intel's high-powered CPU thunder at Computex this year, by debuting a 32-Core CPU just a day after Intel revealed its 28-core monster. The new Threadripper chip will be joined by a 24-core version and will fit the same sockets and motherboards as the last-generation Threadripper chips.
